Above the village Ebnat-Kappel, at 1100 meters above sea level, you will meet Scottish Highland cattle. For over 200 years, this breed is present in unaltered form and without crossbreeding and is now widespread worldwide.
We buy the meat from these highland cattle directly from Felix Kauf in the Upper Färch in Ebnat-Kappel. Butcher Alfred Meier creates for us exclusively the delicious sausages and other smoked specialities of the highest quality.
We take great care that we use regional and Swiss quality products from species-appropriate husbandry and sustainable production.
